Viral Videos Of The Obese Cat Exercising Will Definitely Make You Smile

On October 19, Northshore Veterinary Hospital in Bellingham, Washington uploaded a video of a cute but exceptionally large cat called Cinderblock that was doing its workout on the treadmill with just one paw, while sitting down beside it. A treadmill is just a piece of the weight loss plan for this cat.

As soon as the first video was published, Cinderblock became a celebrity. No wonder, because it is unusual to see cat this size, and totally uninterested in any kind of physical activity.

Since then, the wets from the clinic published updates on Cinderblock's improvement from time to time, including a video of this cat walking unwillingly on the treadmill, but using all four legs.

It is just impossible to look away from this amusing cat, especially in that first video, where she uses just one paw to move the treadmill, and you can hear the veterinarian saying: “You working out?”

The vet says that Cinderblock is currently on a “weight loss journey.”

“This fabulous feline is obese, and it is affecting her quality of life,” the clinic says in its Instagram caption. “We are helping her achieve weight loss through a prescription diet and exercise. She is not on board with the exercise 😂.”

Cinderblock received strong support “IN THIS HOUSE WE CHEER ON CINDERBLOCK YOU GOT THIS BB DO THAT WORKOUT,” Twitter user @smolpinkcat tweeted.

A Twitter user @_stuti said: “Can we please keep getting updates of Cinderblock's progress? She is the most precious thing in my life now.”

Many people admitted that they can relate to Cinderblock and her struggle.

Other people talked about how they become emotionally invested in the whole story and that they were cheering for her.

The Northshore Veterinary Hospital has continued posting video updates of Cinderblock on its Instagram account. In one video, the caption describes that doctors are inspiring her to move across by "scattering the kibble."

“This does also increase her exercise albeit not dramatically," the description says. "Every little bit helps.”

If you want to find out more about Cinderblock's weight-loss journey and her progress, you can do it through the Northshore Veterinary Hospital Instagram account.
